Andrew’s path in the field of medicine began early in life, springing from 15 years training in martial arts. It was during that time, he was first exposed to the power and transformative strength acupuncture and Chinese medicine has on the body, mind and spirit.
Active in the field of acupuncture and healthcare since 2000, Andrew holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the prestigious Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. At SWAC, he received training in oncology, sports medicine, and Japanese acupuncture, a gentle, results-oriented approach to treatment.
Andrew utilizes multiple advanced methods of acupuncture. He has trained with Kiiko Matsumoto in the Japanese style, studied the Balance Method with Dr. Tan, Five Element Acupuncture with Lonny Jarrett, pulse diagnosis with Dr. Leon Hammer, and learned Master Tung style acupuncture. More recently, Andrew is training in Advanced Esoteric Acupuncture with Dr. Mikio Sankey. He finds that, by employing multiple styles, he is better able to address the unique physical and emotional conditions of each client in his care and guide them toward their highest potential in life and wellness.

Ivy genuinely loves the art, science, and healing effects of skin care and sharing that passion with others. Active in the field of aesthetics and laser therapies since 2009, she has worked in both dermatology and plastic surgery offices. Successfully treating sun damage, acne, rosacea, and sensitive skin issues, she assists clients along the path to stronger, healthier skin.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with an honors degree in Fine Arts, she managed her own ceramic arts studio and landscape design business for 20 years. From this experience, she realized as important as it is in the garden to create a healthy environment and balanced soil for plant growth, it is just as essential in skin care to find a healthy balance inside and out. A good diet, regular exercise, and a daily skin routine with well-formulated products, backed by advanced skin treatments, leads to transformative results.
Certified in Medical Needling and Chemical Exfoliation, as well as Laser Physics and Safety, Ivy has enjoyed providing a wide range of services over the years. Some of these include Micro-needling, Dermaplaning, Peels, Medical and Holistic facials. She has cultivated a deep understanding of cosmeceutical chemistry and has been called a “Peel Wizard” by her peers.
Learning and growing in the field of aesthetics is her passion, doing extensive research on skin care ingredients, laser and light therapies, and aesthetic devices. Her most important source of inspiration is her loving husband and acupuncturist, Andrew Nowosad, and her amazing family. Ivy was privileged to be a part of the creation of New Orchard Wellness, a center for acupuncture and holistic skin care, and is ecstatic to be a part of the NOW team!
